Overview
Since 2018, the Institute for High Quality Care (IHQC), in partnership with the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County (CCALAC), has hosted an annual Quality Improvement Summit. This one-day conference is a unique learning event for community clinics, public healthcare delivery systems, and other organizations in the safety net to build their knowledge base in quality and process improvement and to make vital connections with each other.
In light of the environmental shifts necessary for COVID-19, IHQC and CCALAC created the QI Summit Series in August 2020, a series of interactive webinars featuring topics relevant to safety net healthcare during a time of tremendous change. The Summit Series then continued in August 2021, featuring a variety of panelists from safety net clinics and delivery systems, subject matter experts, and representatives from health plans.
