The Fundamentals in QI program is an introductory-level training designed for staff members new to QI or looking to jump-start a new QI project. Over the course of two in-person sessions, we’ll cover a range of quality improvement tools and strategies, including root cause analysis, PDSAs, change management and acceleration, and project management templates.

The QI Change Agents Program provides an opportunity for staff to explore a broad range of strategies needed to drive quality and process improvement at the front lines. Through IHQC’s unique virtual learning lab format, individualized coaching, and deliberate practice techniques, participants will be empowered with the knowledge and skills needed to become a QI/PI champion – or Change Agent – within their organization.

Since 2018, the Institute for High Quality Care (IHQC), in partnership with the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County (CCALAC), has hosted an annual Quality Improvement Summit, a learning event and conference uniquely dedicated to QI staff, providers, and leaders in the safety net.

Now in our fifth year, we are excited to announce the 2022 QI Summit, a two-day virtual conference on August 25th and 26th!

The 2022 QI Summit offers timely and practical discussions to support staff as they balance a myriad of priorities, strive for health equity in their communities, and plan for a post-pandemic future. This year, in addition to the classic panel presentations and breakout sessions, we are offering virtual networking opportunities built into the event platform and the agenda, including an event-wide chat room!

2021 Quality Improvement Summit Series

Now in its fourth year, 2021 QI Summit Series offers timely and practical discussions around re-engaging patients and staff, optimizing care delivery tools and mechanisms, advancing high-priority measures for quality care, and preparing organizations for anticipated changes in finance and policy. This year, we are also offering virtual networking opportunities before each session.

2020 Quality Improvement Summit Series

Since 2018, the Institute for High Quality Care (IHQC), in partnership with the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County (CCALAC), has hosted an annual Quality Improvement Summit, a learning event and conference uniquely dedicated to QI staff, providers, and leaders in the safety net. In light of the environmental changes caused by COVID-19, IHQC and CCALAC are pleased to announce the 2020 Quality Improvement Summit Series: a three-part webinar series taking place through Fall 2020.

In the spirit of our traditional conference, the Summit Series will offer timely and practical discussions around best practices in quality improvement, access, and strategic leadership for safety net organizations. The Summit Series schedule and topics can be found on the Event Page and will be continually updated.

Registration for each individual webinar starts at $30 for safety net leadership, staff, and providers. Additional discounts are available when you register for all 3 webinars by August 27!
