2020 has tested everyone’s strength and resolve – battling a global pandemic; shining a spotlight on health disparities, racism, and social injustice; and sorting through dark days of misinformation and conflict. Through this, IHQC has been honored to see so many examples of “…what lies inside of you.” Strength, skill, compassion, and ingenuity to provide care, to implement new process flows, and to expand the use of telehealth. Quality Improvement (QI), process redesign and change management were powerfully present this year and will be needed even more so as we move forward into 2021.
IHQC was proud to support you this year with our programs, tools, guidance and resources. We will continue to in 2021 with a focus on three key themes:
- Building Capacity – speaking engagements and our core work on the Fundamentals of QI, Change Agents, Project Management Learning Labs, and Making the Value Connection.
- Standardizing and Embedding Change – approaches focused on operationalizing the innovative approaches implemented this year.
- Improving Transitions of Care – supporting programs that optimize process flows and strengthens partnerships for care.
We look forward to bringing you programs in 2021 – regardless of whether they are virtual or, with hope, safely together in person – including our annual QI Summit! Until then, thank you to our alumni, partners, funders, audiences, colleagues and friends for sharing “…what lies inside of you…” – and for letting us support you as best we can.
